Properties

Hansaplast Rapid Healing Dressings have an advanced polyurethane technology that provides a moist environment for the wound, favouring 2 times faster healing compared to healing in a dry environment. It should be kept on for several days due to its continuous healing action. Made from a breathable and waterproof material to cover and protect the wound from external influences. The compress is made of a polyurethane material that is tolerated by the skin and does not stick to the wound. It selectively absorbs wound fluid while keeping it moist, which speeds up the healing process and reduces the risk of scar formation. The strong adhesion keeps the dressing securely in place for several days. Only available in size 43x65mm. Latex-free to minimise the associated risk of allergy.

Advice for use

Clean the wound and gently dry the skin. Apply Hansaplast Rapid Healing Dressings without stretching. Do not apply to an inflamed or infected wound. In the event of heavy bleeding, this should be controlled before applying the dressing. To promote healing, the dressing should remain on the wound for at least two days.
