Ferti-Lily Conception Cup
Indications
Ferti-Lily Conception Cup helps push semen towards the cervix (the opening of the uterus) when inserted into the vagina after ejaculation, packing the sperm into the protective environment of the cervical mucus. It allows you to conceive naturally and is ideal for couples who have been trying for at least 12 months. It is a reliable alternative to hormone treatment and other invasive procedures.
Properties
Ferti-Lily Conception Cup is a very soft, flexible, highly durable, comfortable and easy-to-use cup. Made entirely from medical-grade silicone. Hormone-free. As it is biocompatible, it is safe for internal use. Reusable for up to six cycles.
Results
Allows a greater number of sperm to survive and reach the cervix. As more sperm enter the uterus, the more likely it is that a sperm will penetrate the egg, thus increasing the chance of fertilisation. As it keeps the sperm in place, after inserting the cup, you can return to your daily chores.
Advice for use
Boil in water before first use and after each fertile period. Insert Ferti-Lily Conception Cup into the vagina after intercourse, in the lying position, so that no sperm is lost. Turn inside out so that it looks like an umbrella. Hold it with the shaft facing your feet and one finger inside the cup facing upwards. When it reaches the top of the vagina, hold the cup in place with the inserted finger and at the same time gently pull the shaft with the other hand. The cup can remain inserted for between 20 minutes and 1 hour. To remove, push down gently with your lower abdominal muscles (as if you were evacuating). Slowly pull the stem until you feel the base of the cup at the opening of the vagina. With your fingers in the cavities, squeeze the cup at the base to bend it inwards, making it easier to remove. Rinse the cup thoroughly (about 15 to 20 seconds) with warm water and store in the cotton bag provided.
